Description: CNA’s are responsible for providing proper activities of daily living for residents and ensuring an efficient workflow.  The CNA monitors the condition of the resident, observes any changes in the resident regarding physical condition or behavior and reports to the appropriate staff members.  The CNA ensures quality resident health care directed by the charge nurse and the resident care plan.

Nutrition Assistant

Openings: 1
Type: Full Time/Part Time
Hours: Various shifts, alternating weekends, and rotating holidays.
Description: The dietary aide assists with the service and delivery of food trays to designated areas, cleaning of the kitchen per established protocols, and proper washing and cleaning of food utensils and dishes.  Prepares and delivers snacks as directed.

Radiologic Technologist

Hours:  Monday-Friday, day shift

On-call weekday/weekend rotating

Description:  Produces diagnostic imaging as ordered by the Healthcare Provider for patient diagnosis, evaluation, or monitoring.

Requirements:  Graduate of an accredited school of Radiography and registered as a Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

Central Registration Specialist

Position Summary: Medical office receptionists organize and maintain the front desk of a medical facility, handle paperwork, answer phones, take messages, and inputs data into a computer system as well as additional job responsibilities per orientation and training.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Personality and demeanor to deal with the public and assist ill, older, or distraught patients.
  • Basic office skills such as typing and filing.
  • Good organizational skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Graduate of a certified medical office training course preferred.
  • High school graduate or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.

Medical Technologist

Full-time/Part-time

  • Performs laboratory testing to aid the Healthcare Provider in detection, diagnosis and treatment of disease.
  • Uses judgement, interpretation and evaluation to make decisions and assure accurate results. 
  • Maintains licensure as a North Dakota Laboratory Professional, acquires 24 hours of continuing education biennially, passes Annual Competency Evaluation for CLIA-88
  • Rotate weekends, holidays and call as scheduled, assumes the duties of Radiologist Technologist as a Limited Operator.

Clinic LPN

Job description:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Cooperstown Medical Center will be accountable for the delivery of quality care to
patients and families of all ages according to the individualized needs of the patient. The LPN provides professional nursing
services in the clinic assisting physicians, midlevel providers, and other clinical staff. RN’s are welcome to apply if interested in

PRINCIPLE FUNCTIONS include the following, other duties may be assigned:
 Greets patients appropriately, maintaining a positive attitude.
 Performs skilled nursing care as directed by the medical order and the patient condition.
 Intervenes with proper techniques, procedures and safety precautions to meet the patient needs.
 Acts confidently and promptly in life-threatening situations.
 Teaches, in collaboration with the provider, patient and/or family regarding health, prevention, disease process,
medication, procedures, treatment, prevention of complications and self-care.
 Maintains timely and accurate recording of care provided in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
 Functions within limits and scope of North Dakota State Nurse Practice Act.
 Performs EKG’s and lab specimen collection as ordered by the provider.
 Participates in quality improvement activities as requested.
 Responsible for personal, professional education and growth development.
 Anticipate the needs of the provider to support efficient/quality patient care in the CMC.
 Maintain health and safety standards in all areas of specialty and primary care.
 Interacts with other members of the hospital, CMC and all other referral sources with excellent customer service!

Receptionist (Therapies)

Job description:    Receptionist (Therapies)

The Receptionist will greet patients, active patient files, and move patients through the check in process. Schedule appointments for providers and assist with needs of medical staff.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Welcomes patients and visitors to the medical office by greeting patients and visitors in person and on the telephone and answering inquiries or referring questions to other staff members.
  • Schedules appointments for the providers to optimize patient satisfaction, provider time and most effective use of examining and treatment rooms. Prepares a daily schedule of examinations for each provider.
  • At check in will review patients EMR record.
  • Endeavors to keep patients on schedule by reminding provider of service delays.
  • Assists ill or distraught patients as necessary.
  • Maintains reception area in a neat and orderly condition.
